When things weren’t perfect, Kelly blamed herself and her mental health began to suffer. When her husband Darren was diagnosed with a degenerative spine condition and she found out she had multiple sclerosis, their family nearly fell apart.

But Kelly and Darren were determined to keep it together, and they reached out for help from Action for Children. By offering non-judgemental advice and practical support, we’ve given Kelly the confidence to be the best mum she can be to her girls.
