Hello Everybody! "Shakespeare In-Depth with Philippa Kelly: Lear Series" continues this July 19. In the second week, We’ll interview author Jane Smiley, author of A Thousand Acres; and Emily St John Mandel, who wrote the magnificent Station Eleven; we’ll watch together and discuss the Oscar-winning movie, The Father, and much more. And we’ll culminate with an introduction to playwright Marcus Gardley, whose magnificent adaptation of the play will grace our stage at the Bruns later this year, co-directed by Eric Ting and Dawn Monique Williams.
Join us for the entire 6-week series or purchase each class individually, which includes a lecture a study session for just $40. Classes will take place on Tuesdays at 5:30PM PST and study group on the Saturday following at 11:00AM PST.
