The Hospital Elder Life Program (HELP) focuses on preventing delirium and functional decline for older patients in the hospital. HELP not only benefits patients' experiences, but creates a fulfilling opportunity for volunteers too. Alessia Macaluso is one of the HELP volunteers and has dedicated over 8 years to the program.
