This video was made in haste for the Purdey Conservation Award judges who came to visit the grey partridge project around me. I started filming as well as photographing because I wanted to show the owner what he had achieved visually, not just by way of official counts. This is the amateur story of a piece of ground (which I witnessed before the project began) now thriving due to the efforts to ensure all wildlife can thrive. We won Gold from Purdey!
