Dr. Andrew Kolodny, MD, is co-director of the Opioid Policy Research Collaborative at the Heller School for Social Policy and Management, Brandeis University, and is the executive director of Physicians for Responsible Opioid Prescribing. In this slide-illustrated lecture at the College of the Holy Cross, Dr. Kolodny explains how the opioid epidemic began, who is affected, and how the crisis must be re-framed and addressed.
