In this video I explain why I make art and why I paint abstract paintings as I paint abstract human figures. This batch of paintings is part a series of 100 paintings to acknowledge and celebrate reaching 100 subscribers on YouTube. I finally finished and ended up making 108 total paintings in all over the course of 3 weeks. People have asked why I make these? What do they mean? What inspired me to paint these type of paintings? In this video I explain my thinking and hopefully you'll find my answer interesting and insightful. This is how I escape and derive meaning and truth from the world.
