Aircraft Information:
In-game description:
Pan Spatial Strikeswitch
Further development of a stealth strike fighter with vertical takeoff and landing capabilities. The aircraft has advanced aerodynamic mechanisms and includes internal compartments for housing hypersonic missiles.
Player's fictional settings:
PSF-47 "Strikeswitch"/F-47 "Strike Phoenix"
During the development of the PSF-45, the Pan Spatial Arsenal is also studying a fighter-bomber version of this aircraft. Aimed for extreme-long range air-to-surface/air strike, the fighter-bomber variant features a changeable wing design from large delta wing design for extended cruise range to swept wing + canards for high maneuverability. Like the PSF-45, the aircraft is also stealth to radar and some versions are equipped with Active and Optic Stealth System (A/OS). Like the company's other designs, the aircraft has VTOL capability via vectored main engine exhaust and auxiliary lift fan, it also has a kinetic capacitor flywheel around its lift fan. For the weapon system, the fighter-bomber has VLS on both its back and abdomen, for the installation of long range supersonic missiles like the PSM-34 "Mace" and short range multipurpose missiles like the PSM-30 "Splinter", and different from the PSF-45, it has an extra internal weapon bay to carry long-range cruise missiles or heavy air-to-air missiles or hypersonic air-to-surface missiles. However, the aircraft is lacking a High-Energy Laser weapon (HEL) which the PSF-45 has. Furthermore, the aircraft has elongated fuel tanks and improved engines to fit its extreme-long range attacker/interceptor role. The designation of this fighter-bomber is PSF-47, code name "Strikeswitch". After the PSF-47 is put into mass production, it is quickly delivered to the PSASF and the USAF. The USAF's version is called the F-47 "Strike Phoenix". Although a naval version is also made, it is proved that the aircraft is too heavy for carrier deployment.
