Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he spoke to US President-elect Donald Trump thrice in recent days. Amid war in Gaza and a larger state of conflict in Lebanon and parts of West Asia, Netanyahu said that the talks with Trump aimed to "further tighten the strong alliance between Israel and the US". The Israeli Prime Minister added that the two countries are on the same page and both see “eye-to-eye” on the Iranian threat.
