We are staying with the boat mishap in Benue state that claimed the lives of at least 13 persons, with 50 others rescued in River Benue.
17 more persons are said to be missing in the accident near Ocholonya in Agatu Local Government Area of Benue State on Saturday.
Agatu local government chairman, Melvin Ejeh confirmed that the boat carried 80 persons in total mostly women and children.
The victims recognized to be traders returning to Odenyi in Toto Local Government Area of Nasarawa State after attending the Ocholonya market, were caught in the mishap
