We talk to Blizzard's Senior World Designer Leonard Boyarsky and Lead Technical Artist Julian Love about Diablo 3. If a console version will be made it will be a complete reinvention of the game according to the Blizzard employees.
Julian Love leads Diablo III's technical art team, which handles many of the technical aspects of art creation, rapid prototyping, lighting, visual effects, and hero skill development. Love's direct contributions to the game are mostly on the visual effects side, and played a key role in developing the look of Diablo III's fire, blood, and many wizard spell effects.
As a senior world designer for Blizzard Entertainment, Leonard Boyarsky is heavily involved in developing and implementing the lore and story of Diablo III. He also works to expand on the history and themes of the franchise.
