This was on our way back from Spiti to Delhi via Shimla route. We came to Spiti through Manali route and went back through Shimla route, hence completing the entire circuit. Views on both the routes are mesmerizing and cannot be compared.
Even though Shimla route was better in terms of road conditions, landscapes and terrains of the Manali-Rohtang Pass route were unique yet difficult.
Now it's upto you, whether you want better roads or you want an adventurous drive 😉
P. S - The route via Manali is not open for the entire year, so if you decide to choose that route, plan accordingly.
