A timelapse I made of the Total Lunar Eclipse on November 8, 2022. The moon turned blood red during totality. Totality lasted 85 minutes. A Total Lunar Eclipse occurs when the Full Moon passes completely into the Earth's dark shadow known as the Umbra. All pictures were taken between 1:00 AM - 6:00 AM (MST). This is the last Total Lunar Eclipse until March 13 - 14, 2025. I used an 8 inch Dobsonian telescope to take these pictures. All pictures were taken in Chandler, Arizona by me. Please let me know and credit me if you want to use any of my footage.
