Four general counsels from leading American companies gathered on April 2016 on Capitol Hill for a congressional briefing on the importance of a fair and accessible justice system to the business community.
The panel, “Why Is Legal Aid Important to American Business?,” included Kate Adams, Senior Vice President and General Counsel, Honeywell International; The Honorable Sven Holmes, Vice Chairman and Chief Legal Officer, KPMG; Robert Millen, Chief Legal Officers and General Counsel, Pizza Hut; and Laura Stein, Executive Vice President and General Counsel, The Clorox Company.
This event was held in cooperation with Representatives Susan Brooks (R-IN) and Joe Kennedy III (D-MA), co-chairs of the newly formed House Access to Civil Legal Services Caucus.
