Ah The Dragon Prince. A show I have followed since the release of Season 3 and loved ever since. Through it’s ups and downs I’ve always had faith (however shaky) that this story could be concluded with a strong finish and satisfying character arcs. Recently, it was announced that unless The Dragon Prince performs extremely well with this season, no more will be made. Basically this season needed a finish in order to be satisfying, because there was no guarantees. A lot was riding on it, but after a well received previous season things were looking up. So of course The Dragon Prince took this as an opportunity to write massively controversial character choices and an extremely open ending (with obvious bait to excuse bad writing choices). Sigh. Oh well, I’ve been down this road before *cough cough Miraculous* and I at least have experience in how to handle it. I’m not crying in the corner rocking back and forth in despair. I’m totally fine.
