23 May 2023 - The painting for the chapel dedicated to St. Philip Neri (+1595) was recently restored. It was reinstalled a few days before the saint's feast day, an important day for Rome's "traditional" parish, Ss. Trinità dei Pellegrini. It was here that St. Philip established the Archconfraternity of the Pilgrims and the Convalescents, which has been revived and is again very active in performing works of mercy.

The music is from a collection from the time of the painter Guido Reni (+),1642 whose masterpiece of the Holy Trinity graces the main altar of the church. We hear Palestrina's (+1594) "Io sono ferito ahi lasso", some of another short piece by Palestrina, and Martino Pesenti's (+1648) "Galiarda seconda".
