The legal team for Deputy president William Ruto’s Digital Strategist Dennis Itumbi wants officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation to suspend interrogating him over his kidnapping until he has stabilized from the injuries inflicted on him by his abductors. They were speaking at Kiambu police station where Boniface Makokha who took Itumbi to hospital had gone to record a statement. Itumbi was abducted on 23rd December then assaulted and released several hours later.
