PM Modi visited his mother Heeraben Modi in Gandhinagar on the occasion of her birthday. Born on June 18, 1923, PM Modi's mother entered the 100th year of her life on Saturday. The prime minister attended a small prayer ceremony at home with his mother. PM Modi was seen washing his mother’s feet as he sought her blessings. PM Modi tweeted a blog post in which he penned his thoughts expressing joy on the occasion. He also said that had his father been alive, he would have completed his centenary in 2022.
