Its very important to make sure the size of your squad is correct you want to make sure you have cover for every position, its important to make sure you do not sign too many players or there will be some players not getting game time and there will be some players who will become unhappy.
Its a good idea to make sure you have a wide variety of ages within your squad. Making sure you have younger players on lower wages and older players who you can use to tutor your younger players.
Its very important to make sure you do not have lots of players tied down to long term contracts, unless you plan to have them in your team for a while. Remember to make sure you review player ages and their ability before offering contracts.
Be careful to not sign too many players all at once, stability in your team is very important in making sure you have a well developed and happy squad of players at your football team.
