The state hit a new milestone Thursday as it surpassed 5 million total vaccine doses administered nearly 4 months since the rollout began. Just shy of 2 million residents, or about 28% of New Jersey’s entire adult population, are now fully vaccinated.
Health officials announced 3,758 new, positive cases and 35 deaths. Since the start of the pandemic, there have been 827,795 cases in the state and 24,783 confirmed and probable deaths.
