Update (9/1/2020): I was diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) a few weeks ago from a neurologist at UTSW. He stated that FND wasn't very well known 7 years ago.
I have had anxiety for over 6 years. I had tremors but assumed they were all anxiety. Recently my tremors came back. I have myoclonic jerks and psychogenic tremor (initially thought essential tremor , ET) in addition to generalized anxiety. Being sick, out of work, a friend passing away, wife's surgery, COVID-19, and a few other things all happening within the past 6 weeks my tremors have come back with a vengeance. I hope that by viewing this it can help you or people you know. Anxiety is a real issue. There are a lot of people that state they have anxiety and give you solutions that work for them. Their anxiety is usually minor and short lived where those things may help. However, when showing them a video like this it helps them understand that anxiety can be a silent beast. A person with anxiety and tremors can look and act perfectly fine and within minutes we can look like this video. Feel free to share for awareness.
10/15/2021 Update: I am now trying TMS which is Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation therapy. It has a 75%-80% success rate for people with depression (what insurance approves it for) but it supposedly has show good success with anxiety. I am only 5 days in out of 36 sessions and haven't noticed a difference. However, they say you aren't likely to notice any improvement for at least 2 weeks. I am very hopeful. I hope this gives some of you options you may not have been aware of. I know I heard of this in the last month. There are other types of treatment too but again more aligned with depression. But who's kidding, the longer you have anxiety where there seems to be not fix it does get depressing.
