Huge greenhouse gas emissions can be reduced by composting food and garden wastes!

Food and yard trimming wastes account for 30% of American's trash every year, then 75% of food waste and 25% of the garden waste end up in landfills. (2017, 2018, EPA)

Half of American’s trash goes to landfills, of which food and garden waste account for 30%. To move them to the landfill, three millions of garbage trucks are required. And those trucks emit 2 million metric tons of carbon dioxide.

And, that's just a beginning.
