This is a video showcase showcasing a mod that adds raytraced ambient occlusion to Elden Ring. Instead of the raytracing only impacting shadows this mod now allows Elden Ring to have raytraced ambient lighting too, making it more of a true RTX game than before. I've paired this raytracing mod with the texture improvement mod and my custom reshade to highlight more of the lighting differences. In this video I will showcase some gameplay of Elden Ring with the raytraced ambient occlusion mod, the upscaled textures and my custom reshade and towards the end of the video I will showcase some side-by-side comparisons to show the more nuanced differences between each setting. This does not use the RTGI raytraced emulation within reshade. For the mod to work you have to set RTX to max which does make the game run a good bit worse. I occasionally saw anywhere from a 10 to 15 fps drop while using this mod, but it does look gorgeous.
