King salmon fishing in Michigan is something I look forward to every year but I am always so excited to move on to fishing for coho with hardware and float fishing for fall steelhead as soon as the opportunity arises but it is fun to get your rod bent by a big Michigan king salmon especially if you hook into a fresh chrome king salmon. It doesn't get much better than that in terms of tug!
