Through Clay modeling, the child brings his vision into reality. In the Animal Study Block, the child shapes the clay into various animals they have learned about through the block. The child moves from modeling a sphere of clay, which fits within their palm, to the desired shape. There is a wholeness that the child experiences.

The only tool they use is their hands to mould the clay. Giving shape to soft, formless material strengthens their ‘will’ and is also therapeutic, working on their deep inner needs.
