If you know Joe Buckner today, you would NEVER guess that at one point in his life he was homeless. A result of a relationship abruptly ending and not having the money to get into a new place right away, he spent 6 months fighting for a home.

Joe wanted to share his story because homelessness doesn’t always start how you might think. Life events like a relationship ending, losing a job, or mental or physical health problems can trigger homelessness. Joe’s story is a powerful reminder that homelessness can happen to anyone, but together, we can help each other.
