This drop-shaped turquoise comes from the world-renowned mine of Nishapur (Neyshabour). As you can see in the video, it has a unique blue colour typical of Persian turquoise. This distinct blue colour, also known as "Persian blue," results from the specific amount of copper in the stone. It is almost exclusively found in the Nishapur mine in Persia (Iran).
