I love this piece so much. I was first asked to perform this with Jeff and Catherine last year. While it's originally written for flute and guitar duo, we talked to the composer and were given permission to add percussion. I don't get to play my bodhrán that much, but it's always a treat to bring it out again. This was my favorite performance on my recital. I love the contrast between the beautiful, evocative opening and the fast, dance-like second half. And performing with Catherine and Jeff is always a party. They vibe so well with each other.
