Recognized as the World's Most Sustainable Country in 2018 by National Geographic, nearly 60% of Slovenia is covered in lush forests and its 40+ parks and reserves are home to 20,000 different plants and animals.
With a population just over 2 million and a nation smaller than New Jersey, Slovenia is one of the most underrated countries in Europe and happens to be one of my favorites!
