The definition of Persian Sea (دریای پارس) is different from the definition of Persian Gulf (شاخاب پارس یا خلیج پارس). Persian sea includes all waters in the south of IRAN. Persian Sea is part of the Indian Ocean. Iran has been connected via Persian Sea to Indian Ocean and international waters. This area has been called Persian Sea and Indian Ocean has been a neighbour since ancient times because the majority of the population are Persian, Hindi and Urdu speaking and share Indo-Iranian, Indo-Persian, and Aryan race together.
