In the latest updates, IMD has issued a red alert in Kolhapur. Due to heavy rains, the Panchganga river overflowed. According to the sources, several villages submerged into water, 27 villages are on high alert, and more than 500 people have been shifted to a safe place. The Met department has also issued a red alert for Mumbai city and its suburbs today.
