The Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District awards Milwaukee Public Museum with a Green Luminary award for being an early adopter of green infrastructure with a green roof that will manage nearly 90,000 gallons of water every year.
A Green Luminary® helps protect our rivers and Lake Michigan by adopting practices that harvest rainfall for other uses, or mimic nature, by draining it into the ground to reduce water pollution.
