BMW has an acronym for athleticism, sportiness and touring and that is "XR". A few episodes ago I reviewed this bikes bigger sibling in the form of the S1000XR.
In 2019 BMW first announced the launch of the smaller sibling based loosely on the BMW GS850F, sharing a frame and a motor, just bored out 50cc bigger.
This makes perfect sense, to have such a comfortable bike with a very perky and torquey motor as an every day package for commuting, with the spirited riding and touring to boot.
