Today I'm sharing the best tripod for travel photography for your small mirrorless camera and your smartphone, the Ulanzi MT-44 tripod. It is a small, compact, easily collapsible content creator style tripod that surprisingly works well for travel photography, especially for capturing B-rolls videos, taking photo or video of yourself, taking group photos, using it as a lightstand for your portable light or flash.
Many people think that for travel photography, you will need a proper full size dedicated photography tripod, but this Ulanzi MT-44 tripod really changes my perspective regarding travel photography tripod.
The only drawback of this tripod is that it's not suitable for long exposure photography as it is not meant to be used for that purpose, although you can still use it for slow shutter photography in a pinch if you really need to.
