Quick and easy. The original oyakodon is a bit different from the usual oyakodon recipe you find on Google and YouTube yet is still worth making!
The original oyakodon recipe lets you save the onion and replace it with some more chicken meat! Oyakodon is a Japanese dish that has been served all the way back in the Edo period and is, to make a long story short, chicken meat (oya - the parent) and egg (ko - the child) on top of a bowl of rice.
