Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 GMC Acadia, we're doing a test fit of Kuat NV2.0 platform style two bike rack. That part number is NV22G. Now we already have our bike secured down.I first want to show you one of the key features of this rack. I'm going to come here to the lever on the side and we're just going to pull down, and while pulling that down we can tilt our bike rack away from our vehicle. In this position we are going to gain full access into our back hatch area to get anything in or out that we may need. You can see there's plenty of room there.

We've got full access and plenty of room to stand between our vehicle and our bike rack. Close up our hatch. To put our bike rack back into place, we'll simply lift up until it clicks.How our bike is secured down, here at the back we have a cam buckle strap, we're just going to push on the top of the gray lever, pull that through and push straight down to tighten that down. At the front inaudible 00:01:02 we have a wheel hook. This will sit either in front of our brakes or in front of our frame depending on how our bike is made.

Push on the button and pull up to release it. Pull straight down to ratchet that down. We can push it off to the front and remove our bike. I do suggest that you place our hook towards the other side to take up less space.How much we're adding to our vehicle in this position, we take our tape, we're going to have about 31 inches added. About 24-3/4 inches of ground clearance here.

Our closest point is going to be about 6-1/2 inches away.We do have another position we can put our rack into. Again coming to that same lever, pulling down and we're going to fold our bike rack up against our vehicle.Here we do have our workstation. We can make repairs and adjustments to our bikes. We're going to pull out on that cover, open it up. We can telescope our work stand out, make any adjustments to our bikes that we may need to.

Then we can close it back up and lock it into place. In this position we're only adding about 12-1/2 inches to our vehicle. Ground clearance is going to be about 15 inches. It looks like our closest point will be down here at about 3-1/4 inches.As for our hitch, this is designed to work with 2 inch hitches only. We have a pin and lock that locks to help prevent theft and tampering. Here at the back we're going to have our anti-rattle device. With this tightened up, it's going to tighten up everything on the inside shank and keep a lot of shake and play out of the bike rack as you head down the road.That's going to be our completed look of the Kuat NV2.0 platform style two bike rack. Part number NV22G on our 2017 GMC Acadia. First we'll take it onto our slalom course. This will show you the side to side action such as making turns or evasive maneuvers. Now we're at the alternating speed bumps. This will show you how it looks driving on uneven pavement or potholes. Finally, we're at the solid speed bumps, which stimulates going into your driveway or parking lots.
