February 2016 rebroadcasts on Teennick's "The Splat" (now known as NickRewind; originally named "The '90s Are All That" {a reference to that sketch series}) of the 1992-94 Nickelodeon sketch comedy series "Roundhouse". The series - created by Buddy Sheffield (who was also a lead writer for FOX's "In Living Color" - which arguably influenced the style of the latter series, albeit toned down for a younger audience) and ex-wife Rita; with Rita's new husband; veteran Christian rocker Benny Hester, also serving as a producer (as seen in the cast listing; he would not be the series' only connection to the Christian music world) and focuses on the Anyfamily (so-called because - with the exception of John Crane and Shawn Daywalt; who played the parents; the other cast members playing the kids rotated) and included a series of spoofs as well. The series would be part of Nickelodeon's original "SNICK" lineup for its entire run despite management not knowing what to do with the show due to its relatively edgy humor; ultimately ending its 4-season run over the space of roughly 2 years and giving way to a more familiar Nickelodeon sketch comedy show, All That.

This is the 2nd of 4 episodes in total (all of which I recorded overnight in February 2016 but which ended up being the only episodes I was able to get {per Wikipedia, Roundhouse was part of the block until late 2017; but most likely after not seeing it on the satellite grid repeatedly I gave up and most likely missed whenever it aired again}); all from the show's first season (roughly Fall 1992)

John Crane (who always played the Anyfamily dad; Crane was also part of the writing staff)
Mark David (whose biggest prior gig was appearing in a few episodes of NBC's short-lived 1990 series "Hull High")
Shawn Daywalt (who always played the Anyfamily mom and was - at least for Season 1 - one of the featured vocalists on the series)
Ivan Dudinsky (one of several cast members to also appear on the 1992 Disney musical film "Newsies")
Micki Duran (the other "Hull High" alum; Duran had briefly been part of the group New Rhythm Generation {later known as Wild Orchid; the group included former Kids Incorporated alumnas Stacy Ferguson [later with the Black Eyed Peas and recording professionally as Fergie] and Renee Sandstrom} and appeared in an episode of that series)
Seymour Green (Alfred Carr's cousin)
Crystal Lewis (the other Contemporary Christian Music connection in the series; Lewis had recorded a few albums that had largely slid under the radar. Lewis left the show after Season 1 to focus on her recording career full-time; which in hindsight proved a smart move, as Lewis would become one of the CCM genre's most successful singers during the late 1990s and early 2000s)
Dominic Lucero (another "Newsies" cast member and the only one of the Roundhouse guys in that film to get a major role; Lucero had first gotten noticed as a backup dancer during Michael Jackson's "Bad" world tour as well as a role in the 1989 film "Stand and Deliver". Sadly, after Season 1 Lucero was diagnosed with lymphoma. He would briefly return for a few Season 3 episodes before his health worsened, and unfortunately Lucero - who requested his illness not be publicized - lost his battle with cancer on July 1, 1994 at the age of just 26; with the series finale dedicated in his memory)

Julene Renee (Precado)
David Sidoni (yet another "Newsies" alum; Sidoni would later serve as the host of the CBS Saturday morning game-show Wheel 2000; a kid-oriented spinoff of Wheel of Fortune designed mainly to fill the educational/informational requirements that started being more strictly enforced in the late 1990s)

Additionally, Season 1 would be the only season taped at Nickelodeon Studios at Universal Studios Florida (where most of Nick's 1990s live-action shows were taped) before production moved to Hollywood for the remainder of its run.
