Preparations for this years Uganda Martyrs celebration have began in earnest in Lira district. The celebrations scheduled for the 3rd of next month attracts thousands of people from across the world to commemorate Ugandan Christians who were killed between 1885 and 1887 by Kabaka Mwanga II for refusing to denounce their faith.
