Fun facts:
The drone I used to shoot this crashed due to pilot error during take off before the climb began. By the time we reached high camp, it would no longer fly. We happen to have hired an electrician to hike with us to disassemble/reassemble a generator daily because it was too heavy to carry for one local porter. This man walked up to high camp in dress shoes (2 different shoes, btw) and repaired the drone with a screwdriver. It flew flawlessly from Stella Point. That man is to thank for this 4K footage of Mt. Kilimanjaro. I tried to convince the local guides to let him go to the summit with us, but they asked me: "What does he need to fix up there?" They did have a point. I did try... ;)

Please note: We had permission from the Ministry of Defence for the drone permit. We paid for it and worked for months to attain it legally to respect the National Park and authorities. We had a dedicated supervisor with us to oversee the aerials.
