Renowned for their enchanting harmonies and notable achievements in guitar ensemble competitions, LakBai Guitar Duo has firmly established themselves as a remarkable presence in the music scene. However, it is their transformative pilgrimage along the Camino de Santiago, where they traversed 800 kilometers with their guitars and shared their music with fellow pilgrims, that played a pivotal role in shaping their identity. This experience led them to adopt the name "LakBai," symbolizing their musical journey, friendship, and the harmonious blend of their diverse backgrounds, with "Lakay" representing Jeff's Ilocano heritage and "Bai" signifying Jenny's connection to Cebuano language. With exciting projects on the horizon, LakBai Guitar Duo continues to craft extraordinary music that transcends boundaries, touching the hearts of audiences worldwide.
