Apple has made a tradition of inviting famous directors to make a short movie each year for Chinese New year, shot on iPhone.
In 2021, a Chinese New Year legend (Monster Nian) reimagined as a contemporary coming-of-age story. Directed by Lulu Wang and created by the team behind the Golden Globe nominated film, The Farewell.
