Stazione Loreo FS (RO)
Breve video con descrizione e storia della stazione di Loreo, più tentativo di filmare uno scambio tra treni regionali, fallito a causa della cancellazione del treno proveniente da Rovigo con conseguente ennesimo disservizio da parte di Sistemi Territoriali.
È di questa settimana la notizia dell'arrivo di Trenitalia nella gestione della linea ferroviaria Rovigo Chioggia, quindi possiamo dire addio ufficialmente a Sistemi Territoriali e questa è solo una buona notizia!

Loreo Railway Station (RO)
Today, we are at Loreo railway station, which opened in 1884 with the branch from Adria (Rovigo Chioggia Line was built in three sections Rovigo Adria / Adria Loreo/ Loreo Chioggia. For three yers, it was a terminal station. In fact, the whole line from Rovigo to Chioggia, with the section from Loreo to Chioggia, was opened only in 1887.
Loreo had a good depot, now abandoned and close.
The station has no staff service, and the main facilities and station services as WC, ticket office, waiting room, lagguage storage, and Pub are definitely close or suspended. Travlers can only use a few seats outside the station, one old watch and two timetables.
There are two platforms in use, which the two tracks are use to exchange the trains from Chioggia with the trains from Rovigo because the whole line is a single-track. There is another track, but now is not in use and it's inoperative condition.
I came here to film the exchange between two regional trains, but Sistemi Territoriali (the only railway operator of the line) cancelled the train from Rovigo, and I was able to film only one train.
This will be the last year of Sistemi Territoriali as main and only operator of this railway line because Trenitalia won the public contract to operate the passenger rail service, so Trenitalia will replace Sistemi Territoriali. To be very clear, this is great and good news for this Line!
The rolling stock filmed (ALn663 Fiat) is in a very bad condition. with the arrival of Trenitalia, new rolling stocks will come (we hope so!) with a better service as well.
