I needed the room so I came up with this. I am going to take off the grinding stone on one side and put a sanding "flapper wheel" there. So I have the possibility of using 4 different setups on the 2 bench grinders there! The wood is off a old Water bed, 2" thick by 10" wide and 14" long. I got the 2nd bench grinder off my friend who passed of cancer's wife. I have been buying and getting some of the tools from her that was his. I think this is a good idea (as long as the base is steady).
