The Shropshire Union Canal Middlewich Branch is rural throughout its length until you reach Middlewich itself. Barbridge Marina has linear moorings and some chandlery. Venetian Marina has a chandlery, Marina moorings, an excellent cafe, and some essential groceries. Aqueduct has full facilities, a pleasant cafe overlooking the marina and a well stocked chandlery. In the past we've had good meals at the Badger Inn in Church Minshull but it is a short walk away from the canal.
