LYRICS:
A thousand times I've seen you cry
It seems your face is never dry
So this time I will say goodbye
My lover
I'll leave here at the break of day
Tread lightly as you calmly lay
Although it seems I never may
Recover
To see you smile
To see you smile
To see you smile
To see you smile
To see you smile
To see you smile
To see you smile
To see you smile
I think perhaps we were too bold
In fits of blinding love we told
Each other that we would grow old
Together
And now the lines that mark your face
Are not from age but from heartbreak
We dreamers now must separate
Forever
To see you smile
To see you smile
To see you smile
To see you smile
To see you smile
To see you smile
To see you smile
To see you smile
You and I you must agree
Work better as a memory
It's the present, which will always be
Our flaw
So leaving our once perfect bliss
We seal the end with our last kiss
But there's one thing I'll miss
Forevermore
To see you smile
To see you smile
To see you smile
To see you smile
To see you smile
To see you smile
To see you smile
To see you smile
To see you smile
To see you smile
To see you smile
To see you smile
To see you smile
To see you smile
To see you smile
To see you smile
A thousand times I've seen you cry
It seems your face is never dry
So this time I will say goodbye
My lover
Our favourite stage in all the world is one with a dark history. For the last 5 summers we’ve spent countless Sunday afternoons playing at ‘Mauerpark'- once part of Berlin's infamous ‘Death Strip’- where just 30 years ago a person would very likely be killed for merely standing.
To make music and rejoice in freedom of expression, in a place which once represented such violent restriction, is a very special feeling- one we’ve shared with many of you. These are the days we’ll never forget. To celebrate and document these afternoons here is the first music video from the new album.
Peace and love always,
Charity Children
