A woman has been arrested and charged after a man was found seriously injured before dying in hospital in Glasgow.

Emergency services were called to a property in Braid Square shortly after midnight on Saturday.

A 30-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he died on Monday, police said.

His next of kin have been informed, officers confirmed.

A 47-year-old woman was arrested and charged with attempted murder and is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal, Police Scotland said.
