New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo is holding his daily press conference on the Covid-19 outbreak, which has infected more than 362,764 people across the state, according to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University. Coronavirus deaths in New York state have fallen below 100, Cuomo said on Saturday, marking the lowest daily death toll from the virus since March 24. The governor said the 84 new reported deaths was a “tragedy” but that the downward trend in daily deaths was a sign that the state is making significant progress.
