🚓 1970 "Off Road" Dodge Charger R/T - Dominic Torreto (Vin Diesel)
Custom built by the McCarthy and the team with a false BDS 8-71 Roots-style supercharger with chrome-plated plastic attached to the the hood. The R/T purported to have 900 horsepower and a rear wheel drive.
The original R/T used a hydraulic ram for the burnout-wheelie scene, however, the hemi that appears during the garage reveal sequence, the supercharged Chrysler 426 hemi V8, was not used for action sequences. Instead, an 383ci from Mopart was presumably used in its stead. Additionally, the R/T is thought to have been a 1968 Dodge Charger disguised with 1970s parts[3], such as the nose and mixed trim.[1] Modifications made to the R/T included its use of Nitrous Oxide, Catherine wheels, a stainless still mesh grille and a full roll cage. The R/T uses Rear Wheel Drive and Continental Sport Contact tires that are 18- x 8.0 inches in front and 18 x 8.5 inches in the rear.[4]

A carbon fiber bonnet and rear wing along with black wheels. Internally, the car features a black roll cage. The roof has hooking holes installed, as well as a window for the deployment of a parachute. The STis were donations, given to Universal Studios by Subaru. Seven cars were given, and of them only one actually survived past the production of the film. Brian's Impreza is the least modified vehicle in this operation, being the only vehicle not modified to rally raid spec.

🚓 2011 Dodge Challenger SRT - Letty Ortiz (Michelle Rodriguez)
🚓 1967 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 - Roman Pearce (Tyrese Gibson)
Five replicas of the 1967 Chevrolet Camaro were built by Dennis McCarthy and his production crew for Furious 7. The Chevrolet Camaro Z28 was heavily modified to handle off-road terrain and equipped with 4x4 tires used on the modified 1970 Dodge Charger. McCarthy built the 1967 Chevrolet Camaro replica with "trophy turck chassis wrapped in the Camaro’s sheetmetal".

----------------
Shooting took place in Colorado and took months of prep time to solve problems. Cameras needed to be mounted onto cars in a way that they wouldn't be destroyed when the cars landed, and the crew needed a safe way to get the cars out of the plane.
Over 10 cameras were used for the sequence. In addition to cameras on the ground, there were cameras remotely operated inside the plane and another three mounted outside each car. Additional cameras were on a helicopter and three skydivers used in the shoot wore helmet cams who then would either jump out before cars or after them.
All of the cars survived except one that didn't make it because its parachute didn't deploy.
Furious 7 was the shortest build ever. - three months. McCarthy and a team of 70 were literally sending cars to set with wet paint.
Roughly 300 to 350 cars were used and couple hundred of them were destroyed through the course of filming.
