World Pizzaiolo Acrobatic Champion Chef Pasqualino Barbasso entertained us with his amazing skills with pizza dough at Circles from 20 to 26 February.
The making of this traditional Italian recipe is turned into a theatrical performance with an extra ounce of fun with surprising spins and manoeuvres.
ABOUT CHEF PASQUALINO BARBASSO:
The Italian chef began his career at his family’s pizzeria back in Cammarata, in the Sicilian province Agrigento, where he works until today whenever he is not traveling showcasing his pizza acrobatics. Paqualino’s first title came on 1998 when he won the Sicily’s Acrobatic Pizza tournament. The first place at the World Championship came in 2001 and again in 2002, when he was consolidated as one of the most famous and skilled pizza acrobats of all.
