The webinar introduces IRENA’s new online marketplace for renewable energy projects in Africa, the Sustainable Energy Marketplace. The Sustainable Energy Marketplace helps to develop and drive investments in new renewable energy projects in Africa and thus support the mitigation of climate change. In this webinar IRENA describes how the marketplace works and its benefits for registered project developers, investors, as well as service and technology providers. During the webinar the participants asked IRENA questions about the Sustainable Energy Marketplace. The webinar also featured Wim Jonker-Klunne, Programme Director of the Energy and Environment Partnership/Southern and Eastern Africa.
