This video tells the story of Roger 'Syd' Barrett, the original leader of Pink Floyd who was bundled out of the band in 1968 after an extended period of bizarre behaviour.
Nowadays, Syd's contribution to the Floyd's legacy - and to music in general - occasionally gets overlooked. But he was one of the founding fathers of British psych, acid-pop and space-rock, and his legacy extends through some notable artists, including Blur, Julian Cope and Robyn Hitchcock.
Drawing on Syd literature, video footage, music clips and a whole lot of photos, the video takes a close look at Barrett's contributions to the early Floyd - and tells the strange story of what happened to him next.
